The Arbor timber framed cover has a fixed frame with an automated retractable roof. When the roof is covering the frame it is tensioned so that the flat surface guarantees the discharge of rainwater. This tensioning of the roof also greatly reduces fluttering in the wind. When retracted, the roof is housed in a cassette at the rear of the frame keeping it neat housed and unobtrusive.
The roof fabric itself is waterproof, fire retardant and is designed to keep its shape for many years. The pitch of the roof is no less than 12 degrees
The timber frame is lamellar pine which is imbued by copper baron salts which protects the wood from the elements. This offers increased stability, resistance and provides high bearing capacity in comparison to other timber structures which twist, curve and even split.
The frame is generally wall mounted at the back with legs at the front giving fantastic stability and making it a self supporting cover. If the frame cannot be wall mounted however, it can be supported at the back with legs and the Arbor can even be installed back to back with another Arbor offering many cover options. The timber comes in 2 colours finishes – walnut or mahogany.
The Arbor comes in widths of 8m and can have a projection of up to 5m.
Controlling the retractable roof couldn’t be easier – it can be via a wall mounted switch or a smart handset
If you want to enclose the covered area you can have side walls/blinds installed on as many sides as you wish, each with the flexibility to be raised or lowered at the touch of a button.
